This week’s fashion tip is how to transition your wardrobe from summer to fall.

Often times you find yourself standing in front of your closet waiting for a cute outfit to jump out at you. But it’s even harder when the seasons are changing and you can’t decide whether to wear shorts or pants, a sweater or a short sleeved shirt? Here are a few tips for some summer to fall inspiration.

Tip #1: Throw on a comfy sweater paired with shorts. This way you can be warm on top but still have that summery look on the bottom. Here, freshman Daisy Connery is wearing a sweater by Deep River, camoflauge shorts from Aritzia, and Soludos.

Tip #2: Wear a skirt or a dress with booties. The booties give the outfit more of a fall vibe. Here, junior Emma Kent is wearing a white detailed peplum shirt from Nordstrom rack, a tan suede skirt from PacSun, an army green peplum jacket from E Street, and a cute pair of booties from BORN.

Tip #3: Wear jeans with a summery tank or short sleeve. Jeans are always the way to go when you don’t know what to wear because you can basically throw anything on top. If you want to wear a summery top long after the summer, you can as long as you pair it with jeans.
