No.4 ranked Lake Forest took on Wisconsin’s third ranked Middleton on a bright Saturday morning at Lake Forests West Campus. A continuation of last year’s match up, this year Middleton looked to respond to Lake Forest’s dominant blowout win. That’s just what they did, Middleton walked away winning by one point, 10-9. Lake Forest kept up but struggled to take a lead as the Scouts goalie, junior Augie Silver struggled to keep Middleton out of the back of the net. Lake Forest’s star attacker, senior Harry Kotlarz started off hot with a hat trick of goals in the first period but Middleton quickly caught up. Middleton drove home after winning by a single goal although Lake Forest nearly tied it at 10 a piece in the final seconds.

The Scouts return to action at 4:45 tonight at Lakes High School and hope to advance to 5-2 with this non-conference matchup.
