Last Thursday, No.4 ranked Lake Forest Men’s Lacrosse took on No.9 ranked Glenbrook South. The Titans started with an explosive start scoring two goals in the first period and holding the Scouts to just one.

The Scouts came roaring back in the second quarter putting up four goals to tie the game heading into the break. Lake Forest’s defense held Glenbrook South to just two goals in the second half while adding an additional four goals with two in each period.

Junior Midfielder Oscar Kokke described their performance as something that got better throughout the game.

“We started off a little rocky but at the end of the game we bounced back and got our game together. It should not have been as close as it was,” Kokke said.

The Scouts return to action Thursday against Grayslake North in a non-conference matchup at Lake Forests West Campus.
