Tonight the girls basketball team travels north to Zion Benton where they will take on the Zee-Bees in a primetime conference matchup. The Scouts came out of break with four wins and one loss in their holiday tournament, ultimately earning the tournament championship based on a free-throw percentage tie breaker.

Star sophomore Halle Douglass continues to lead the way for the Scouts and junior Ellie Pearson started to really hit her stride gathering 18 points and seven rebounds in the Scouts win against Phillips high school. Both players look to continue their success tonight against a Zion-Benton team that has struggled to begin the season. A win tonight would put the Scouts at (5-2) in conference and give them a great shot to compete for the season title with the likes of Stevenson, Lake Zurich and Warren.
