Girls’ Golf gets big conference win

What Happened: Yesterday at Deerpath, the Girls’ Golf Team defeated Libertyville by the score of 175-192. The Scouts got key contributions from senior Clare Green (42), freshman Chloe Lee (46), and sophomore Susa Carlson (48).

Key Player: Senior Bella Martino led the way as medalist with a score of 39.

They Said It: “We have a busy stretch of golf coming up and starting it off with a huge win over a quality conference opponent should give us confidence moving forward,” said Coach Steve Johnson.

Key Moment: Bella Martino birdied the fourth hole which propelled her to medalist honors.

Up Next: The Scouts host Stevenson Thursday in another big conference match.
