Today, the Lake Forest Scouts varsity gymnastics team travels to Libertyville to participate in the North Suburban Conference championships. Senior Jessica Pasquesi, along with freshmen Gianna Pasquesi and Kristin Fisch lead the Scouts into the event under the direction of head coach Megan Miles.
Fisch, who has continually challenged time-honored Lake Forest High School records in all events–including a 9.5 on beam, a 9.4 on floor exercise, and a 9.4 on vault–will look to test her mettle against the conference’s best competition.
Mundelein, Stevenson, Lake Zurich and Lake Forest are predicted to be the top four competitors in Thursday’s competition, but look for the ever-improving Scouts to post high numbers in each event.
