Last night, the Girls’ Gymnastics Team hosted Libertyville High School for its Senior Night. The team celebrated two four-year members — Shaffer Franklin and Mary King. Shaffer’s favorite event is the beam while Mary’s favorite event is the bars. Lake Forest crushed Libertyville by nearly seven whole points. The Scouts secured the win with an overall score of 142.25 while the Wildcats fell to the Scouts with an overall score of 135.50.

Kristin Fisch was a clear stand out for the Scouts last night. Fisch swept the competition with an all-around score of 38.15. She not only placed first in the all-around, but also placed first in every single event. Gianna Pasquesi was also a stand-out competitor for Lake Forest last night. She placed second overall with a score of 36.20.

As their season continues, the Scouts  have continued to grow stronger after each meet and look forward to the rest of their season. Their postseason run begins next Thursday at Libertyville where they will compete against six teams for the conference title.
