If you haven’t noticed already, Instagram “closets” are the new trend at LFHS. As some zealous entrepreneurs have already noticed firsthand, it’s a great way to get rid of things you know you’ll never wear again while making some “side hustle” at the same time. People are creating Instagrams and posting pictures of their lightly-used clothes for their followers to see and perhaps buy. These posts usually include a picture of the item, where it’s from, the original price, and the new price they are selling it for. Tons of students are taking on the hobby of reselling.
The process, which has caught on very quickly at LFHS in the past few weeks, is rewarding for both the buyer, who’s getting something for a much lower price than retail, and the seller, who’s making money off of old clothing they don’t want/need anymore. If you haven’t checked out the “closets” of our own students at LFHS, search some of the Instagram handles below to get some great deals on old items you’ve always wanted.
