The Winter Formal created hilarious, embarrassing, and chaotic memories that will last a lifetime and The Forest Scout is here to share them! It’s amazing what can happen when the school puts a dancing DJ in the competition gym with Apre Ski themed strobe lights.
Whether it was your first winter formal or last, it was a night to be put in the books.
“I was dancing in the mosh and, when the beat dropped everyone started raving, my dear friend came to the rescue and saved my life. Thanks to her I was able to continue to rave.”
“My date forgot me at the dance.”
“I saw a kid’s face get sat on while we were dancing. His glasses flew off and all. The DJ was quick to ask him if he was okay…so did a swarm of girls.”
“After the night was over, me and my date were walking into my house while it was pitch black outside. Then, we saw a dark figure standing behind the glass door staring at us. I thought we were going to die, upon closer look it was just my dad waiting for me to come home alone…he ended up letting us both in.”
“I asked my friend to the dance and her friend decided to tag along with us. When I explained the situation to my grandma, she proceeded to ask lots of questions like: ‘So you’re taking two girls to the dance?!’”
“I thought I lost my camera’s SD card with all the photos of the entire night. I made the entire party stop what they were doing and made everyone look for it. I ended up finding it in my pocket in the morning.”
“I went to the flower shop to get my date her corsage and saw the worker take it out of a box that looked like a freezer. So when I got home I put the corsage in the freezer. Turns out the freezer kills flowers and I had to hand my date a black flower.”

“I was going to use the bathroom and all of a sudden ‘Mo Bamba’ came on. I decided to jump around with my buddy and give him a shoulder when I then realized I was flying into a trophy case with no chance of stopping myself.”
“I honestly don’t remember the dance because I was at the coat check longer than I actually danced.”
“One of my friends got his shoes stolen at the pre-party, so he ended up wearing shoes that were too small and had to go with his feet hanging out. I don’t think he ever got his shoes back.”
“I got pushed into the middle of the dance circle and everyone started to mosh and push me around. All of a sudden, I felt my dress fall down. Next thing I knew I was in the dean’s office stapling my dress together.”
“My friend told us that he would drive me and all my friends to the dance, so we were expecting him to come in his big truck, but when he pulled up in a mini van we realized seven people would be sitting in the trunk.”
“After the dance, I was trying to find the house all my friends were at, so I had taken off my heels and was searching. I accidentally banged on the door of the wrong house and woke up a man who came to find me barefoot on his porch looking for my friends.”
There you have it!
Some of the best stories of the night deserve to be shared—-whether you want to remember them or not.
