I didn’t know much about the school until I decided to visit last summer and ended up absolutely loving it! The balance between stellar academics and a surplus of fun activities really stood out to me. I loved how the D-Plan gives students more freedom in picking their schedule, and the emphasis on the outdoors stuck with me considering I love being outside. Most importantly, though, there was a strong sense of community on campus, and I felt eager to be apart of it!
What are you most looking forward to about it?
I am looking forward to trying new outdoor adventures, meeting new people, and having the opportunity to push myself academically with new courses. Dartmouth also has a strong study abroad program, so I’m super excited to participate! Also, there is this challenge called “The Fifty” where students can opt to complete a 50 mile hike, so maybe I will become skilled enough at hiking to accomplish that one day!
