Getting into the Halloween spirit isn’t easy, but there’s a local event that helps the community get in the spirit. If a light-hearted, family-friendly event sounds like what you have been searching for, then look no further. Lake Bluff’s Public Library could have exactly what you need.

Lake Bluff invites you personally to their “Trick or Treat.” This event goes from 4 pm to 7 pm on Oct. 31, 2023, and is very local at Lake Bluff’s Public Library. They encourage everyone to wear their Halloween costumes.

“You gotta dress to impress,” said senior Sophia Zar

Whether you’re spending it with your friends or family, Lake Bluff’s “Trick or Treat,” is a great way to start your eventful night out.

“It’s a tradition between my friends and I,” said sophomore Gabe Burke.

Halloween is a great way to interact with your community. “The Lake Bluff Library brings everyone together,” said freshman John Gibbons.

This requires no planning, payment, or even a phone call because all you need to do is bring your family or friends and strengthen your connection with your community.

“Having a good time and making friends is what it’s all about,” said Zar.

Come to Lake Bluf’s Public Library on Oct. 31, 2023 to start your Halloween the right way. Bring your family or friends and a can-do attitude. See you then!
