Best Rom-Coms of All Time

Best+Rom-Coms+of+All+Time

Romantic comedies are arguably the top-tier genre when it comes to movies. When you want to curl up in bed and watch Netflix, this list of movies I guarantee will make you feel like a warm hug! As the best way to get a quick pick-me-up, rom-coms serve up laughter, swoon-worthy moments, and heartwarming cues that love always wins! This list will provide you with the perfect escape.

13 Going on 30

Do you ever wish you could skip the awkward teen years? This hilarious movie is about a teenage girl who wishes to be thirty overnight. It is relatable and a tear-jerker and will definitely make you laugh. 13 Going on 30 is a delightful and heartwarming comedy that is one of the best out there. Not only is this movie one of my favorite rom-coms of all time, but the chemistry between Jenna and Matt is truly unmatched. With Jennifer Garner giving an outstanding performance as the main character, I guarantee that you will not find a better girls night movie!

Love, Rosie

Are you looking for a movie that is emotional and tugs at your heart strings? Love, Rosie is a must-watch following two lifelong best friends whose feelings get hilariously miscommunicated and leaves you on your toes throughout the entire movie. With so many witty bits and heartwarming moments, I am sure you will be rooting for Rosie and Alex to finally find their happily ever after. Rosie’s charm combined with irresistible leads means that this cute movie serves up laughs, cries, and all touching feelings you crave from this genre.

Anyone But You

Despite this movie being released recently, Anyone But You is a delightfully quirky rom-com gem! This charming movie follows an unlikely pair of friends whose undeniable chemistry sparks into something more. This movie serves hysterical jokes, endearing characters, and a refreshingly authentic take on modern love. This is a great feel-good movie that will have you rooting for these charming characters. Anyone But You is a heartfelt flick that kept me captivated until the end.

How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days

I can easily say that there is not a movie out there that can replicate this iconic story played by Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey. This wildly entertaining romantic comedy follows a journalist trying to drive away a guy at the same time that he is trying to win her over. This setup sparks hilarious chemistry and comedy as the lead rolls unknowingly oppose each other. An important attraction from the movie is the memorable and iconic yellow dress that is worn in the movie that has teenage girls obsessed. I promise you won’t regret watching this movie.

27 Dresses

This movie is a total rom-com delight! 27 Dresses follows an avid bridesmaid who seems to always put others’ happiness above herself. This all changes when a new love interest enters her life and she seems to turn into a chaotic mess. With its relatable humor and feel-good moments, 27 Dresses will have you hoping that the loveable Jane will finally make her happy ever after!

Something Borrowed

Something Borrowed is a delightfully messy rom-com flick. This movie follows the classic ‘falling for your best friend’s boyfriend’ premise and it plays out in the most funny and cringe- worthy, yet endearing, way. This lovable cast has infectious chemistry as the mess of lies and secrets unfold. This hilarious flick lets you wonder what the true meaning of friendship is, if love conquers all, and how the worst situations can get better. Something Borrowed is a guiltily enjoyable romantic story that will have you rooting for these hot messes to sort out their issues in order to finally find their happily ever afters.
