    Attention all readers! Today, Friday, October 14th, marks the first day in which The Forest Scout Newspaper Magazine is available in the school. 

    Keep an eye out for the magazine in lunch periods–where staff writers will be handing out copies–as well as around the library, guidance office, and main entrances of the school. If you for some reason cannot track one down, stop by the Journalism Press Room (356) and we’ll be sure to help you out.

    Grace Scheidler is a senior at Lake Forest High School who is an active member of the cross country team. This is her second year as Editor in Chief of The Forest Scout, and you'll most often find her writing under the In Our Opinion section of the newspaper. She's a fan of cold-brew coffee, colorful pens, chocolate chip cannolis, Jane Austen novels, pearl earrings, and lazy Saturday mornings.
