The Lake Forest Varsity Dance team traveled to Orlando, Florida to participate in the 2018 National Dance Team Championships on February 3-4 and placed fourth in the Medium Varsity Pom Category and sixth in the Medium Varsity Jazz Category. This championship attracts dance teams from around the country and seems to attract more teams and intensify the competition every year.
Lake Forest was the lone team in their group to go straight to finals from the preliminary round in the pom category and was one of 18 finalists selected from the semi-final round to go on to the finals in the jazz category. There were 16 finalists in the pom division.
