As the school’s internet access resurfaces–despite the growing speculation among students that it was intentionally banned to curb students from purchasing Lolla tickets on the school’s server–the lineup has finally been announced.
Wiz Khalifa, Migos, and Big Sean highlight the rap/hip-hop artists featured in 2017 while Vance Joy, Ryan Adams, The Head and the Heart, Sylvan Esso and The Shins lead the way for indie music fans everywhere.
Aside from the aforementioned bands, musicians perhaps out of the limelight of their careers, such as Liam Gallagher (former front-man of Oasis), Blink-182, and Spoon will sure pique the interest of some fans of an older age.
Meanwhile, sleepers in the year’s show might just be high-energy groups like Grouplove–featuring their hit songs “Tongue Tied,” “Itchin’ on a Photograph,” and “Ways to Go”–and Milky Chance, who owned the radio in 2014 with their anthem “Stolen Dance.”
At least one off-the-beaten-path performance steals the show each year, regardless of genre preferences, and The Forest Scout‘s picks for this year that you should circle on your concert schedule are Tegan and Sara, Warpaint, Rag’n’Bone Man, Bishop Briggs, Districts, and Kaleo.
See the image below for the complete lineup. The anticipation starts….well, it already started for many. For the rest of you, it officially starts now.
