The 22nd Century Media group, the publisher that facilitates distribution of The Lake Forest Leader, is currently hosting a vote for their 2017 Athlete of the Year. There was one Scouts athlete to make the nominees list, field hockey star senior Catherine Nicholson, who helped the Scouts win the 2017 IHSFHA State Championship this season.
Nicholson, a University of Iowa-commit, finished her career as a two-time state champion and was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Region team. Help Catherine garner yet another accolade by voting following the link below.
