Coming off a 2-0 victory over Glenbard West on Thursday night, the Scouts will look to take their 2nd consecutive IHSFHA title this Saturday against the North Shore Country Day Raiders.
The Raiders, who took down New Trier 2-1 in the second semifinal game on Thursday night at Glenrbook South, will now face the Scouts for the second time this season. On August 29 of this year, the game was close from the start, and neither team was ever able to pull away and the game was highly contested even in the closing seconds. The Scouts’ defense was able to withstand the very dynamic and aggressive offense of North Shore Country Day. The strong defensive play was anchored by Sarah Considine, Charlotte Domittner, and Natalie Notz on that day, but the Scouts will indeed need to be strong again come Saturday afternoon.
Before they beat the Trevians, NSCD took down Oak Park-River Forest, and St. Ignatius. The Scouts defeated Glenbrook South and Antioch before they took down Glenbard West yesterday evening.
Come out and support the 12-time state champion Scouts as they strive to win their first back-to-back titles since 2012 and 2013.
