On this edition of Stylish Scouts, we’re peaking into junior Alexandra Hirs’s closet. Alexandra is known for her chic taste, put-together outfits, and unique aesthetic, so let’s take a better look at her sense of style!
Who is your biggest style inspiration?
“My biggest style inspiration is my sister. She is so creative and is always able to put together a very chic outfit. I definitely admire her sense of style as she is able to pull off anything. This is a recent outfit of hers.”
What is your favorite item of clothing you own?
“One of my favorite clothing items I have is this high-neckhigh neck top from the brand Sea. It has really pretty flowers and patterns all over the front, making it a really unique piece. I especially love the ties at the neck.”
What is your favorite store to shop at?
“My favorite store to shop at is probably the boutique Bunny and Babe in Winnetka. They carry so many brands, which all have so many stylish pieces and accessories.”
What is one item on your wishlist?
“An item at the top of my wishlist is this ‘I love you’ bracelet. I recently got it for my best friend, and since then, I have been obsessed with it and definitely want one of my own.”
What outfit are you most proud of?
“The outfit I am most proud of is probably this set I wore this summer. It is my favorite outfit as it is so pretty and effortlessly cool. It is a set from Sandro, and I paired it with white Hermes sandals and a bunch of gold jewelry, such as my cuff bracelet.”
What is an item you can’t live without?
“An item I can’t live without is probably all of my claw clips. I constantly use clips throughout the day, and my current favorite is this bedazzled initial one from Amazon. I use it pretty much every day.”
What is your favorite trend at the moment?
“My favorite trend at the moment is monochrome outfits, specifically brown. I think brown is so pretty for the fall, and I really like the way a monochromatic outfit looks put together and classy.”
What is your go-to outfit?
“My go-to outfit is definitely my favorite pair of Mother jeans and this blue and white Reformation top. They are both so easy to throw on and match really well together. I especially love this outfit during the warmer weather.
