- Bearcats (3-0)
After a dominating 37-16 victory over the Lizard Kings this past weekend, the Bearcats jump up into the #1 position. We previously stated that their lack of games held them back from a higher place, but this week they definitely showed that they have what it takes to win the league this season.
2. Belt Boyzzz Elite (4-1)
Belt Boyzzz Elite seems to be heating up after two wins against Track and Freak and Butter Burger. The early loss to the Puck Bandits haunts them as they can’t quite reach the top rank. However, with a highly anticipated game against the Bearcats coming up this weekend, they will be searching for that top spot.
3. P.I.G (3-0-1)
P.I.G continues to cruise by teams, earning them the third rank. This team has the potential to become a top contender. If only they could have pulled out a win against the Puck Banditz, they could have found themselves at the top of the leaderboard currently.
4. Butter Burger Hoops (4-2)
Over the weekend, Butter Burger was able to go 1-1 with a win against the Milk Men followed by a loss to Belt Boyzzz Elite. Butter Burger has started to slip a bit in the rankings with two losses in their past two weekends. They still have plenty of talent, and this hopefully is just a quick roadblock in their season.
5. Lizard Kings (3-2)
Coming off of a rough weekend against the Bearcats, the Lizard Kings have a big game against Butter Burger coming up. After falling down four spots in the rankings, this might be a must-win game for the Lizard Kings if they are hoping to remain in the top half of the rankings heading into the end of the season.
6. Track and Freak (3-3)
Track and Freak definitely showcases that they are not afraid to fill their schedule with whoever wants to play. Having already played six games shows that they have the most experience out of all the intramural teams. However, this team can’t seem to go on a winning streak. It will be interesting to see if this team can start to string together some wins, especially when it comes to Playoff Sunday.
7. Puck Banditz (1-2-1)
The Puck Bandits have recently been on a cold streak after their hot start. Sickness and injury seems to be a key contributor to these losses. However, as we approach the playoffs, the Puck Banditz look to be the frontrunners to create some upsets late into the season.
8. The Milk Men (1-4)
The Milkmen are currently on a three game losing streak. However, it’s safe to say that the Milk Men have had one of the toughest schedules this season. With an upcoming game against the Puck Banditz, this could potentially be the start of a late season surge leading up to the playoffs.
9. SRC Hooligans (1-2)
So far this season, the SRC Hooligans are yet to create any massive upsets. However, they have shown some promise in some of their recent games. We wouldn’t be surprised to see the SRC Hooligans come together to pull off a couple of great wins late in the season.
10. Pink Panthers (0-3)
Coming in at the #10 rank is the senior led team, the Pink Panthers. So far they have had a frustrating season, but there are still several games left to be played. With an upcoming game against Belt Boyzzz Elite, we are hoping to see these boys start to trend in the right direction.
