Senior Ryder Gamrath is heavily involved in New Media and LFHS Theater. In his free time he watches movies and spends time with his friends. He loves writing, filming, and editing videos and hopes to entertain students with content for The Forest Scout!
New to The Forest Scout, Kallista is a junior who is involved in the theater and music program at LFHS, as well as a few clubs. When not rehearsing for her next show, you can find Kallista watching reality tv, thrifting, and enthusiastically creating secret handshakes.
This problem is especially bad for cash payers (such as me).
Today, I tried to buy an overpriced box of strawberry Pocky ($4.00 USD) from the cafeteria machine. While the touchscreen reliably worked, that was it. I made my selection and inserted a $5.00 USD bill into the feed slot. To my surprise, it didn’t add a single cent of credit, and pressing “return” did not return the $5.00 USD bill.
I tried contacting the machine operator and the school office, but I have doubts that anything short of litigation will suffice.
