  1. W.I.G. (3-0) ↑1 –  We have a new number 1 this week. After back to back dominant defensive performances, Team W.I.G. dethroned Team Coht for the top spot heading into week 4.
  2. Team Coht (2-1) ↓1 – Team Coht only put up 6 points this week against the new top team. Despite this abysmal offensive showing, we still believe that Team Coht belongs in the 2 spot.
  3. TKN (3-0) ↑3 – Tri Kappa Nu technically won by forfeit this week. The reason for their sudden surge is because of an off-the-record scrimmage that took place instead of that game against most of Funkytown.
  4. Funkytown (3-0) ↓1 – Funkytown won by forfeit against the Knickerbockers, who didn’t even bother to show up this week. They have a good matchup with the Cherry Up Men next week.
  5. Cherry Up Men (2-1) ↓1 – Jack Kaplan’s 15 points led the Cherry Up Men to a 38-30 victory over Steph with Too Much Curry, getting them back on track with a win.
  6. Butter Burger Hoopers (3-0) ↓1 – The Butter Burger Hoopers only beat the Juggs Messiahs by 6 this week in a game that was much closer than anticipated, with the final score being 26-20.
  7. GSU Antelopes (1-2) ↑2 – The GSU Antelopes won their first game of the season, beating the previously undefeated Chinless Hooligans by 5. The final score was 27-22.
  8. Chinless Hooligans (2-1) ↓1 – The Chinless Hooligans were handed their first loss of the season thanks to the GSU Antelopes. The Chinless Hooligans will take on the 1-seeded Team W.I.G. in week 4.
  9. Handlers (2-1) ↑1 – The Handlers put up a league-high for the week with 55 points. The Handlers will have a tough matchup with the GSU Antelopes this week.
  10. Steph with Too Much Curry (1-2) ↓2 – Steph with Too Much Curry lost by 8 to the Cherry Up Men, making their losing streak 2 games long. They have a chance to make that a 3 game skid after a matchup with Team Coht this week.
  11. Caillou’s Boys (2-1) – Calliou’s Boys sent the Ball Boys home thanks to Charlie Graham’s 3-point buzzer-beater. Finn Goodman scored at least 16 points for the third straight week.
  12. Puck Bandits (2-1) ↑1 – The Puck Bandits ran over the Brown Shirts, winning by 22. The Puck Bandits should have their third straight win after a matchup with the winless Big Basketball Champs in week 4.
  13. Taj Tusslers (2-1) ↑3 – The Taj Tusslers absolutely obliterated the Brick Boys, winning by the largest margin of victory for the week at 31 points.
  14. Kramer’s Kids (2-1) ↑3 – Kramer’s Kids beat a tired Juggs Messiah team by 4, winning 25-21. They find themselves above .500 after losing last week.
  15. Jugg Messiahs (1-3) ↓1 – The Jugg Messiahs came close in both of their two double-header games, losing by 6 to Butter Burger Hoopers, not thanks to Cogan Manley’s airballed threes, and by 4 to Kramer’s Kids.
  16. Brick Boys (1-2) ↓4 – The Brick Boys got demolished by the Taj Tusslers, losing by 31 points. We have no clue how the Brick Boys only put up 8 points.
  17. Ball Boys (1-1) ↓2 – Well, we called it. The Ball Boys lost to Caillou’s Boys 25-22 thanks to a Charlie Graham buzzer-beater. We will give credit to the Ball Boys keeping it a close game.
  18. O-Blockerz (1-2) ↑1 – The O-Blockerz beat the Big Basketball Champs 35-27 in the final game of the day. This game ended up being more entertaining than most expected from these two lackluster squads.
  19. Knickerbockers (0-3) ↓1 – “[The Knickerbockers] should be on their way to an 0-3 record after a date with Funkytown next week.” (Quote from last week’s edition). The Knickerbocker’s date with Funkytown never happened since they decided that they would just accept the loss.
  20. Brown Shirts (0-3) – The Brown Shirts have yet to claim a W to their name, losing for the third week in a row to start the season. They got run over by the Puck Bandits, making this the second straight week that they lost by over 20 points.
  21. Big Basketball Champs (0-3) – The Big Basketball Champs came closer to winning this week than they had before this season, still losing by 8 points though.
  22. Legends of Ga’Hoole (0-3) – The Legends of Ga’Hoole didn’t have enough players to play a game this week, so they forfeited to TKN. This was probably a good thing that helped spare us from another massacre at Ga’Hoole’s expense.
  23. West Side Dynasty (0-3) – The West Side Dynasty claims the title of the worst team in this week’s power rankings after falling to 0-3. They lost to the Handlers by 11.

**Dawgs Elite** – Dawgs Elite has been officially booted from the league after forfeiting     in each of the first two weeks.

Girls/Coed Rankings

  • Ballers (2-0) – The Ballers are back on top after another win this week over Shooting Deez. They showed that they are still an elite team after a week off.
  • Babytrons Finest (2-1) – Babytrons Finest are slowly moving up the rankings and making noise in the league. They held the Bofa Ballers to only 6 points in a dominant defensive performance. Lexi Berretini scored 20 points!
  • The Kennedy’s (3-0) – The Kennedy’s won this week but it was because of a forfeit this past week. They are still undefeated though and could be a team to watch going forward.
  • Slayups (2-0) – The Slayups won this past week against the Kennedys after a bye week. They won 12-8.
  • Homie Hoopers (2-0) – The Homie Hoopers won this week on a forfeit. They were supposed to play the Barty Parties, but they did not show.
  • Shooting Deez (2-1) – Shooting Deez is not a bad team. Shooting Deez proved that they could compete against good teams. They only lost by 3 to the Ballers this week, which is a team that has a ton of momentum right now. Look out for Shooting Deez in the future.
  • Passers (2-0) – The Passers won this past week against the Ballstars. They were able to edge out a win in a close game.
  • Ballstars (0-3) – Although this team is low, they have competed well against good teams. They only lost by one point to an undefeated Passers team. This team has potential but needs to start winning games to move up higher in the rankings.
  • Barty Parties (0-3) – The Barty Parties had to forfeit this past week, which dropped them to 0-3 on the year.
  • Bofa Ballers (0-3) – The Bofa Ballers lost to Babytron’s Finest 20-6 and didn’t look like they could ever get anything going on offense during the whole game.

*The Superhoopers have been kicked out of the league due to forfeiting*
