Video: Scouts Overcome Libertyville to Remain Unbeaten

Peter Elliott, Editor-in-Chief

Watch time: 4:40

On April Fool’s Day, the Scouts proved that their hot start to the spring campaign is no stunt. Propelled by a strong performance from senior quarterback Richie Hoskins, Lake Forest improved to 3-0 on the season with a convincing 23-14 win over Libertyville.

Hoskins rushed for a pair of scores and threw a game-sealing touchdown pass, powering the team’s first win over Libertyville since 2018. The Scouts remain tied for first place atop the North Suburban Conference standings alongside Warren.

Watch how it unfolded, and hear from Hoskins and Scouts head coach Chuck Spagnoli in this game recap.
