The Scouts defeated Naperville North last night 5-0. The Scouts proved their versatility with players Madden Plante, Maggie Mick, Logan Hanekamp, Willow Volkert, and Gracie McGowen all scoring goals.
Last night was the perfect opportunity for the Scouts to showcase their ability to work as a team through both communication and ball control. Assists were made by seniors Eleanor VanAntwerp and Sarah Considine during the game.
They had great passing and connected the ball well throughout the field. “I think that our team played very cohesively tonight and we are constantly trying to improve our small passing game which we worked at in today’s game,” senior Madden Plante said.
This will give the 10-1-1 Scout’s confidence as they head into their big game this weekend against the #1 team in the Midwest, Sacred Heart Academy. They will be traveling from Kentucky to contest against the Scouts on Saturday at West Campus at 1:30 p.m.
