LFHS to host annual Career Fair on March 20

LFHS+to+host+annual+Career+Fair

As the road of high school comes to an end, the new journey through college and to future careers begins.  For those unsure of where the journey will take them, there’s a new great opportunity to explore a myriad of options.

Lake Forest High School is holding its first annual Informational Career Fair on Tuesday March 20 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Competition Gym.  At least 50 different businesses have volunteered to be participants in the career fair, giving students the opportunity to speak with business owners about their industries and career paths, as well as the education required to work in each specific field.

Much like the popular Open Doors Career Exploration Program that took place this past fall, the Informational Career Fair will focus on the 16 career clusters, a list that categorizes all possible job opportunities for students.  Participating organizations include Wells Fargo, Hyatt Hotels, the US Army, Northwestern Medicine and Abbott.

Students will get an opportunity to visit the career fair through their wellness class on March 20.  Don’t miss this unique opportunity to explore careers and find the one that is best for you!
