GURNEE, IL– Lake Forest Mens Basketball traveled to Warren Township High School for a much-anticipated conference match-up. The Scouts won 54-51 with junior Hudson Scroggins leading the team with 21 points. Captain and senior Tommie Aberle rebounded from a difficult performance against Lake Zurich in the past week and finished with 15 points.

Warren entered the match-up ranked #13 in Illinois with a record of 16-2 and 4-0 in the conference while the Scouts looked to better their 12-4 and 4-1 in the conference. Warren’s starting lineup features the impressive 6’1 freshman Jaxson Davis. Davis exploded onto the scene this year already receiving his first Division 1 offer before the school year started. Although Davis scored 20 points, the Scout’s defense held strong and helped keep the rest of the Blue Devils’ offense at bay.

Scouts basketball returns to the Lake Forest High School competition gym for a conference matchup against Mundelein tonight at 7:00.

The high school that I go to beat the one that I live near. That’s great.
