On April 19th, the Lake Forest men’s lacrosse team played rivals Libertyville High School. Right off the bus, the Scouts came out hot. Senior middie Harry Kotlarz scored the first goal of the night early into the game. The offense brought it all in the first half and racked up a 7-0 lead. Four minutes into the third, Libertyville snuck one past the Lake Forest defense even though they had been dominating all game. Later in the 3rd, junior attackman Graham Garrigan had a notable diving goal to keep the pressure on. The Scouts ended the 3rd quarter right, scoring another two more making it 10-1. In the 4th quarter, Libertyville managed to add another goal making it 12-2. With just a few minutes left in the game, junior attackman Collin Pfeifle secured his second goal of the game by catching a difficult pass and rushing straight towards the net, completely faking out Libertyville’s goalie. This win improved the Scouts’ record to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in conference.
