Welcome back! It’s been a little while, but Stylish Scouts is back with a feature of a super chic senior: Brynne Hippel.

Hippel consistently combines and matches different colors, shapes, and styles to assemble tasteful and sophisticated outfits. Let’s jump into some fashion-based Q&A to get her take on constructing her wardrobe and style.

What is your favorite trend right now?

A trend I’ve been really loving and seeing right now are items with a hint of feathers! The last two things I have ordered have feathers, and I think they’re so cute. I feel like they’re kind of coming back right now, and will maybe get even more popular soon. I think they spice up an outfit without being too over the top.

What is an item in your closet that you couldn’t live without?

An item in my closet that I couldn’t live without is probably my pair of leather leggings from Aritzia. I feel like I wear them super often with so many different outfits. Whenever I go out or need to wear something nice (and if I don’t feel like wearing jeans), I like to wear these leggings. They switch up an outfit and are very flattering. I’ve had them for around three years and continue to wear them. They are timeless, and I highly recommend getting a pair.

What is something that you are excited to wear?

I can’t wait to wear my prom dress! I literally just ordered it a few days ago, and I am super excited about it. I think it’s different from what I usually wear to dances. I wanted to go for this cute babydoll dress look, which is so flattering. It has a super elegant and classy look to it (my favorite style).

What is an item in your closet that you can dress up or dress down?

I recently got this blazer from Zara, and I’ve been trying to figure out how to wear it and what to wear it with. I’ve realized that I can really dress it up or down if paired with the right things. I wore it as a coat for a more dressed-up outfit going to the city, and another time with jeans, making it more casual. I feel like I could wear this however I want, and I can’t wait to keep trying it out. I may even wear it with jean shorts in the summer, but that’s just a thought.

What is your favorite spring accessory (that you own or on your wishlist)?

Something on my wishlist for the spring right now is this gold midi skirt from Aritzia. It’s casual and elegant at the same time, and I feel like I could pair a lot of things with it. I have been wanting this skirt for a while, but I never buy it because it’s expensive and I’m never willing to pay that much for one item. However, I have a ton of events coming up in the spring-like graduation parties, so this skirt would be a cute and dressy outfit option.

Thank you Brynne for giving us the chance to hear your stylish opinions! Come back next week for another stylish scout.
