Pandora Rings

As someone who is a jewelry fanatic, Pandora is one of my favorite brands. Recently, I have been wanting to up my game by adding new pieces to my jewelry collection, which are rings. I have purchased many rings that have tarnished and not lasted, which opened up my eyes. Over the past few weeks, I have made a decision to invest my money in jewelry that will last and not tarnish over time. I was once gifted a ring from Pandora years ago, and it has remained in good condition. Today, there are so many nice-looking rings that are in my online cart. I look at the price and I say to myself, it’s an investment and they will last.

Air Purifier

When my mom first purchased an air purifier, I thought she was crazy, but recently I have changed my mind. I like having the flow of air in my room. There are many benefits to an air purifier. For example, the filtering of air can remove harmful particles from indoor spaces. Also, it has helped me with my asthma. I leave my air purifier on at night, and the sound is so peaceful when I’m trying to fall asleep.

Weighted Blanket

I got a weighted blanket a couple of months ago, and I have grown a deep connection with it. I am a very restless sleeper, and the blanket never falls off of me, which I love. I not only use my weighted blanket in bed, but I use it when I am sitting at my desk too. They come in so many colors, I have a gray one. My blanket is so soft. I’m going away to college in the fall, and I will definitely bring my weighted blanket with me.

Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj has been absent from the music spotlight for a while now, but I have just started listening to her music again. Recently, my go-to karaoke song is Monster. I have always been a fan of hers, but more so today. Not only do I enjoy her music, but she is iconic. I have been rewatching her interviews and performances, and she is amazing. She is an amazing performer and she always gives me a good laugh. Even though she has “retired” from the industry, I hope she releases music in the future.

Jeremy Zucker

During the times of quarantine, I had become obsessed with an artist, Jeremy Zucker. As of recently, I have gotten back into some of his old and newer songs. Currently, this is how you fall in love has been playing on repeat whenever I do my homework or just drive in the car. Another one of his songs that I have gotten back into is talk is overrated and Oh, Mexico. His music is very versatile, ranging from soft background noise to songs you can blast while driving.

Word Searches

I know I know, when you think of word searches you think of moms playing those games on their phones. I’m not gonna lie, I did too. When I have a break from classes or just a little bit of free time, I go and do a word search. They allow me to destress while overwhelmed with work, being able to focus on something else.

Tala Matcha

This isn’t a new thing for me, but matcha has been my go-to drink at any coffee shop. Especially at a specific coffee shop in Highwood called Tala. It’s perfect for the summer and winter. I don’t know about any other matcha drinkers, but sometimes when it’s hot, it doesn’t taste as good. However, Tala’s matcha is good either way, hot or cold. I prefer to add oat milk instead of normal milk because it just adds a new level of flavor to the drink (and it’s better for the environment).

Film Cameras

I haven’t been the only one loving the film cameras and the look of the pictures. A ton of influencers including, Lexi Hidalgo, Hanna Meloche, and many others have been featuring their pictures from film cameras on their Instagrams. I know that a lot of girls at LFHS have this type of camera and bring them to big events to take cool pictures. I love how easy it is to just pull it out and take a picture. Film cameras are such a nice way to capture cute, small moments with friends or family that a phone camera couldn’t accomplish as well.
