No need to travel far for fashion-inspo, because LFHS is filled with trend-setters. Everywhere you look, students strut the hallway with their own unique sense of style. 

Each week, I will be asking some of the high school’s most fashionable students a set of questions regarding their wardrobe, and what makes their fashion-flair stand out. 

To start, this week will focus on two stylish scouts, and they happen to be sisters. Senior Bea Pierce and freshman Harriet Pierce impress with their polished outfits on a day to day basis, and their character is always shown through their clothes. Let’s see what their closets have in common, and how their taste compares! 

Bea:

What is your favorite clothing item or accessory?

“My favorite clothing item in my closet is my white dress from For Love and Lemons that I wore for homecoming this year because it’s super fun and has a different look to it. It

 is also very unique which makes me love it even more. The details are super eye catching.”

What is the item in your closet that you wear the most?

“The item in my closet that I wear the most is definitely my Denim Forum Jeans from Aritzia. You can style them up or down and they are so easy to throw on.”

What is your favorite store to shop at?

“My favorite store to shop at is definitely Aritzia. I feel like they have a lot of great basics, and again, I think basics like neutral colors and things like that are a great staple for your closet because you can style them in so many ways. 

What is one item that is on your wishlist?

“An item on my wishlist right now is the dyson air wrap. In addition to putting together cute outfits, I want my hair to look good with it!”

What is an outfit that you are proud to show off?

“Definitely my long For Love and Lemons summer dress because it is so bright and colorful. In the summer it was so fun to wear with a pair of wedges.”

Where do you look for fashion inspiration?

“I look for fashion inspo on social media. Famous influencers have great style and my fashion icons are for sure Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner.”

Harriet:

What is your favorite clothing item or accessory that you own?

“My gold hoops are my favorite accessory in my closet. They are super cute and can really dress up an outfit.”

What is the item in your closet that you wear the most?

“The item I wear the most is probably my flare jeans from the brand Mother. They are super cute and a great staple to have.”

What is your favorite store to shop at?

“My favorite store to shop at is Aritzia because they have great staples and all of the clothes are really good quality. Most of their clothes are pretty simple but they have a few fun pieces here and there. I also love free people because they always have cool new pieces.”

What is one item that is on your wishlist?

“One item that is on my wish list is probably the Alexander McQueen oversized leather sneakers. They are super cute and could go with anything!”

What is an outfit that you are proud to show off?

“Probably this two piece pink and white checkered top and shorts from Wolf and Badger. The top has a huge bow. I think it is really fun and out there!”

Where do you look for fashion inspiration?

“I love looking at Teen Vogue or just scrolling on Instagram, you can get some really good ideas and inspiration. My mom is a huge fashion icon to me. She has a great sense of style and knows how to put any outfit together.”
