A week after Principal Dr. Erin Lenart released a school-wide message urging students to wear masks properly, the confirmed positive COVID cases are up to 29-45 students.

She emphasized that in order to keep everyone safe, healthy, and together for the rest of the school year students need to take personal responsibility and wear their mask correctly.

Not wearing a mask correctly will result in a quarantine, if students are in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID, Dr. Lenart said.

“We’re still not out of the woods yet. We’ve recently had an uptake of confirmed COVID cases here at Lake Forest High School,” she said in the video.
