Izzy Kipp

What happened

Izzy Kipp can brighten your day with her warmth and smile.  We have greatly missed seeing her on a daily basis in class.  It has been remarkable watching her take on E-Learning.  Many of my students have had trouble adjusting and get overwhelmed with the workload.  Izzy has taken charge and empowered herself in these difficult times.  She has advocated and asked questions.  Kudos to you, Izzy.

These three scholars get my “Scout Shout-Out” because they not only are learning and growing in US History and doing great work, but all three are excited enough about what they are learning to go deeper and find connections between what we are learning together and their own lives. Susan Harmon

What happened

Susan Harmon has put so much time and dedication into the Spring sports scheduling to have it all cancelled this spring.  She was not so much upset that all that hard work was to vanish quickly — but her LFHS heart was broken for all our student athletes that could not participate in sports this spring — especially our very talented seniors.  She continues to look ahead and be the positive person she is for next year.

Personal Message

Susan Harmon is the best coworker ever!!!!!

Personal Message

Finola goes above and beyond both inside and outside of the classroom.  She always has a smile on her face and is  patient and kind when working with students. She is able to connect with all students and has the ability to  help them understand and appreciate chemistry. Here is a quote from a parent of a student that she has been working with during remote learning. “Finola is more than knowledgeable about chemistry.  She actually can impart knowledge onto someone else, especially someone who was discouraged and unengaged.   She made Chemistry accessible to my son, given he was so discouraged and unengaged with life in general this past month.”
