Friday brings one of LFHS’s best traditions: the annual ELS Basketball Game.

The Education Life Skills specializes in helping students with special needs. Each year they host a basketball game against rival New Trier High School.

The game will take place in the competition gym during all lunch periods.

As part of the event, the students have put together a raffle that inclues plenty of fun gifts from local businesses.

All of the money raised through selling the raffle tickets goes towards Gigi’s Playhouse, an achievement center in Bannockburn that aims to change the way the world views Down syndrome.

The ELS students have been training hard with their buddies for the past few weeks in preparation for the game, and are so excited to compete.
