LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill.– The LFHS boys water polo squad sustained another loss yesterday, this time falling to Stevenson, 16-7. This was the best that LFHS has performed against the Patriots, who are currently ranked 2nd in the state and coming off an undefeated 2016-17 season.
The Scouts started off strong, taking a lead in the first quarter. After scoring the first goal of the match, senior Andrew Gherlein in particular racked up assists to teammates Greg Damidot and Chuck Mickey, both of whom scored twice. In addition, Will Paschke put in one for the Scouts.
With their record currently standing at 6-2, the Scouts will take on the a strong Mundelein team tomorrow. Be sure to head down to the LFHS pool to witness this matchup.
