In the past ten years, the definition of “stylish” has changed with almost every season. Ten years later, one style season in particular stuck out to me: 2007. Ten years later and some of these trends are the most memorable ones that high schoolers remember wearing back in the day. 2007 was all about making the boldest statement possible–with bright colors and flashy accessories. Whether it was seen on celebrities or on LFHS students in 2007, these trends were more than memorable.
Big, Unnecessary Belting
Juicy Zip-Ups
Thin Accessory Scarves
In 2017, LFHS style is much different than it was 10 years ago, yet trends seen on celebrities are still popular in school today. This year in the hallways you can see more students wearing muted colors and more variety in pants and sleeves than in previous years. Instead of the bigger the better for accessories, the bigger the flare the better seems to be the motto.
