Since 1954, the Deer Path Art League has succeeded in fulfilling their mission to “spark, nurture and enhance creativity as well as raise community awareness and appreciation of the arts.”
This upcoming Sunday-Monday (September 3-4) between 10:00am – 5:00pm, the 63rd Annual Art Fair on the Market Square in Lake Forest will be hosted once again by the Deer Path Art League. The fair attracts over 20,000 viewers stretching from suburbs in Chicago to communities in Milwaukee. Admission is free, and the experience is well worth it.
A wide variety of art disciplines and styles are put on display throughout the fair such as ceramics, digital art, drawing/pastels, fiber, glass, graphics/printmaking, jewelry, metal, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture & wood. Hundreds of artists of all ages apply for a place in the fair, however, only a select 180 are admitted. Artwork is on display and for sale throughout the market, including work from select Lake Forest High School students.
Support your peers and take advantage of this exciting, significant, and eye-opening event that is hosted right here in our own backyard.
