Ellie Carter is a senior at Lake Forest High School and is thrilled to be a first-year writer for The Forest Scout! She is a captain on the varsity girls lacrosse team and participates in many clubs such as Student to Student, Women’s Club, CROYA, Link Crew, and Women in STEM! Outside of school, you’ll find Ellie working at Exmoor Country Club, babysitting, volunteering, traveling, and hanging out with friends and family.

Sophia Shader is a Senior at Lake Forest High School and is excited to continue writing for The Forest Scout as an editor! Sophia is involved in Varsity Softball, Scout Nation, and Big to Little at the high school! Outside of school, you can find Sophia hanging out with friends, at CROYA, babysitting, or traveling.
