The Four Nations Face-Off Final was Thursday night and was one of the most anticipated sporting events of 2025. These two teams previously played last Saturday in Montreal, Canada, with team USA coming out on top 3-1. The first game featured numerous fights, including three in the first nine seconds of the game. The tension all started during the US national anthem, drawing many boos from the Canadian crowd. This only fueled up the American squad and pushed them to a game one win. 

In a thrilling finish to the Four Nations Face-Off Tournament, Team Canada outlasted Team USA with a 3-2 overtime victory in Boston. Canada’s Connor McDavid scored the game-winning goal with 8:18 seconds left in OT. The game started off very intense, opening with a goal from Canada’s Nathan Mackinnon, the later awarded tournament MVP. Team USA countered with 2 goals in the first and second period by Brady Tkachuk and Jake Sanderson respectively. Canada then answered quickly with a goal by Sam Bennett. Both teams had countless chances to score, with goaltenders on both sides making outstanding plays to keep their team alive.
