Edition: Sophia Shader

Sophia Shader is a junior staff writer for The Forest Scout and has taken on the challenge of writing many pieces and even trying to produce them biweekly. Shader has written pieces that range from opinions about going to a school dance and the stigma behind it all the way to Stylish Scouts. She is very involved throughout our school community. Shader is involved with Big to Little, the girls volleyball program, as well as the girls softball program. Let’s get to know Shader and her writing styles a little bit more and deep dive into 3 different pieces that she has published.
Piece #1: My Top 24 Products of 2024
-This is so helpful yet so simple! Shader does a great job highlighting products and giving great reasons to purchase them! Coming up with 24 products can definitely be challenging but she was able to capture them and present them in a way that makes you eager to continue to read!

-Shader did a great job on highlighting the important facts and the sad reality about how overconsumption
-There is great detail and makes you interested in continuing to learn about easy it is for one viewer to become obsessed with the idea of spending money aimlessly because others around them are

Piece #3: A Look Into the Life of Senior Elizabeth Silvay
-This is another piece that is just beautifully written, hearing about such a powerful senior story makes me encouraged to strive for more!
-Shader did a great job on asking the right questions and did a great job making sure elizabeth gave thoughtful responses
