Hydroflask, Yeti, Swell, Slm, and Stanley are all reusable water bottle brands that I’ve tried, yet they don’t even come close in comparison to ‘Owala’. The relatively new water bottle brand launched in March of 2020 but only became known to me at the end of last year.
While comparing water bottle brands that seemingly do the same thing may sound silly, I believe that Owala clearly remains superior to the rest.
You may be wondering why it’s the best water bottle on the market. The part that drew me into the brand, and arguably is the best part of the water bottle, is the sip feature.
This feature allows you to cover your lid from germs and is like drinking from a straw without spilling. It also has the additional option of tipping the bottle back to drink like a typical container.
The lock on the lid makes the bottle even more convenient to carry around. You can dangle it from your fingers or clip it onto your backpack.
Owalas come in various sizes 16oz, 24oz, 32oz, and 40oz. I personally own both the 24oz and the 32oz. I prefer the 24oz because of the grooves on the side making it easier to grip, fit in cup holders and backpack side pockets.
I’ve seen over the past year here at the highschool that it’s not just me that’s using Owalas. They have grown in popularity fast. According to “Ad Age” the water bottles sales from 2022 doubled 1.5% in 2023 proving to become a fan favorite and quickly rising to compete with the top reusable water bottle brands.
This water bottle’s unique name “Owala” comes from the fact that when you sip from the cap covering your nose, it makes you look like a koala. This makes it fun to drink no matter your age.
Lastly, this water bottle also comes in a range of fun colors that leave options for endless color combinations. Overall if you haven’t tried “Owala” you’re missing out because it is the best on the market!

Anna, what is your dream Owala color combination?

Grace, with the endless color combinations the options truly are endless. Although I would say a perywinkle pink, powder blue, and nice lavender would be a combo I would love to see in the near future coming from Owala.
