Places In Lake Forest:
Dunkin Donuts
Dunkin Donuts is a great place to go if you’re in a rush since it’s so close to LFHS. Along with that, it’s cheap and fast to eat, making it a good addition to your list of potential lunch spots.
The Left Bank
The Left Bank is a hidden gem that serves very good hotdogs. It’s fairly priced, pretty quick to eat and is in close proximity to LFHS, making it easy to get during your lunch period.
The Peanut Gallery
The Peanut Gallery is on the pricier side of this list. However, they do make up for the price and slower time to receive your food with terrific burgers— which have been rated some of the best in the area. This restaurant is a good option for your lunch.
Lake Forest Food and Wine
Lake Forest Food and Wine is another sandwich shop. Since the restaurant is located in LF, the amount of time you can eat is greater. It’s slightly more expensive than other places but has a more sit-down feel, as well as good sandwiches.
Once Upon A Bagel
Once Upon A Bagel is new to LF as of the summer and is already very popular. As stated in the name, it’s known for its bagels and breakfast sandwiches. It is fairly priced and in the heart of LF, making it a fast option.
Places In Lake Bluff:
Chipotle
Chipotle is in Lake Bluff, making it a decent drive away from LFHS. Because of this, the time you have to eat is cut down. But, Chipotle is still worth it. It can vary in terms of cost, but is pretty consistent and always a good option to have.
Potbelly
Potbelly is right next to Chipotle in Lake Bluff, also making it a bit of a drive from the high school. On top of that, it takes longer to receive your food than in Chipotle; the line can be quite long, but the sandwiches are good. It is on the pricier side of the list, but they are very consistent with their food.
Jimmy John’s
Jimmy John’s, like Potbelly, offers a variety of sandwiches; however, it is faster and cheaper than its competition. It’s up to you to decide between the two as they are almost next door to each other in Lake Bluff.
Epic Burger
Epic burger has recently replaced Meatheads. It’s controversial about which one is better but, nonetheless, Epic Burger is a fast and medium priced burger that will definitely be enough food.
Overall, my personal favorite place to eat is The Peanut Gallery in Lake Forest. My order is the Iron Flag— a burger with mustard, fried onions and lettuce. Although it is a little pricey, I personally feel it is totally worth it.
