In this edition of Stylish Scouts, senior Lauren Richards showcases her trendy and timeless style. Here’s a little more about her school looks and the inspiration behind them!

What’s your favorite trend at the moment?

“My favorite trend right now is either denim skirts or the sambas. I always wear mine and love pairing my denim mini skirts with fun tops.”

What is your favorite brand?

“Currently, my top brands would be Aritzia and Ralph Lauren. I like that Aritzia has good staples and Ralph Lauren has many timeless pieces and long lasting sweaters.”

What is your favorite item in your closet?

“I always reach for my Ralph Lauren Flag sweater when I’m leaving the house. It’s definitely one of my staple pieces and one of my favorites.” 

What is the most recent item you have purchased? 

“The most recent item I have purchased was a sweater from KOTN. I bought this sweater because its perfect for fall weather coming up and super cute.” 

What is one item that is currently on your wishlist?

“One item that is currently on my wishlist is the Sporty & Rich OG sambas. I want these because I love the color red, and these would go perfectly with so many fall outfits.”

Who is someone who inspires your fashion sense?

“Danielle Pheloung is someone I look up to for outfit inspiration and style recommendations. Her minimalistic clothing is chic and elegant.”

What is your favorite outfit you have ever worn? 

“My favorite outfit I have worn was probably this look I wore to school. I wore a brown and cream striped mini skirt with a Brandy Melive top and my brown sambas. I like it because it reminds me of fall, and it’s one of my favorite seasons.”
