With chilly winter weather quickly approaching, it’s the perfect time to add some winter clothes to your closet. Throughout 2023, the “cozy” style has largely increased, inspiring many warm and comfortable winter looks. Here are my top five places to shop this winter!
- Free People
Notoriously known for their comfy, oversized sweaters, Free People is the perfect place to shop for a chic winter look. Beyond their large selection of clothing, they sell various winter accessories, including scarves, hats, gloves, socks, and more. The cost is a bit pricey, but their good-quality clothing is an investment that will last a long time. If you’re looking for a boho look this winter, Free People is the place for you!
- Aritzia
On the pricier end is Aritzia, which offers a variety of good-quality basic clothing. Many of their items can be layered and styled to your liking, making adding them to your everyday outfits easy. Throwing a simple jacket or sweater over their tops makes the perfect winter outfit. One of my favorite staple items is their Soloist Sweater.
- Abercrombie
If you’re looking for a comfortable but stylish pair of jeans, Abercrombie has what you’re looking for. They carry a wide selection of jeans styles, each containing a choice of color and length. My personal favorites are the High Rise 90s Relaxed Jean. Each pair is reasonably priced for a good quality pair of jeans and ranges from $90-$100.
- H&M
Along with their wide variety of clothing, H&M has affordable prices and good quality items. They have a wide range of sweaters, sweatpants, jackets, and other winter essentials. One of my favorite things to get is their pajama sets. There are several options that are perfect for cozy winter nights.
- Brandy Melville
Looking for a simple sweatsuit to wear on a chilly day? Brandy Melville has all the essentials you need to keep warm in the winter. They have a variety of basic sweatshirts and sweatpants in a wide selection of colors. Whether you want a cute zip-up or a comfy pair of sweatpants, you can find it here for an affordable price. A lot of their clothing is easy to style and can be worn as an everyday outfit. My go-to sweatpants are the Hillary Soft Yoga Pants.
