“I thought I was just opening a smoothie shop and then it morphed into something else and it became a juice bar. I had never gone to a juice bar before in my life, but everything unfolded naturally in a very beautiful way,” Laura Rukavina, Owner of LF Juice said. 

They offer a wide variety of juices, smoothies, and other healthy options, all made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

One of the shop’s popular items are acai bowls, a refreshing blend of a multitude of toppings that’s perfect for a hot summer day. It’s a mix of frozen acai berries as well as other berries and fresh fruit along with your choice of toppings – granola, nuts, honey, etc. 

They also have a wide selection of juices and cleansers for anyone trying to make a lifestyle change or just to refresh after a workout. Others enjoy the shop’s smoothies, which are packed with vitamins and nutrients to help them stay healthy and energized.

The staff consists of one family who do their best to treat customers like extended family and vice versa. 

The staff helps customers by catering to their needs and giving them advice about which specific products would suit their needs. 

“It made me happy because I was bringing a juice bar to the midwest where there were very few, so this type of business wasn’t here,” Rukavina says. “I felt proud that our midwest community was embracing that type of idea in terms of ‘grab-n-go’ and processed things to eat.” 

Despite its small size, the juice shop has quickly become a hub of activity in the town. People from all walks of life come together to enjoy a drink and catch up with friends and neighbors. It’s a place where everyone is welcome, and everyone leaves feeling refreshed.
