Kenna McBean, Staff Writer

Big Fish is coming to a big stage near you! The theatrical adaptation of the Tim Burton movie will be in the RMA on April 27th, 28th, and 29th at 7:00 p.m.

The endearing story tells of a young man named Will (Jack Taylor) who with his wife (Janel Sharman), is struggling to connect with his father, Edward (Tom Foley), before the older man’s death. With the encouragement of his wife and his mother (Shaya Scales), Will decides to revisit the stories his father told him in his childhood, hoping that between the lines of fiction, the truth will be revealed. Along the way, he discovers a giant named Karl (Connor Boyle), an eccentric circus leader (John Turelli), a fortune-telling witch (Nora Sharman), and his dad’s hopelessly devoted high school girlfriend (Kenna McBean).

The show is directed by Mr. John Wanninger and Mrs. Kelly MacBlane. The tech crew is led by Mary Toledano.

Tickets are $17 for adults and $10 for students and seniors when purchased online. At the door, they will be $20 for adults and $13 for students and seniors.
