In Da Club featuring The Art Club

Izzy Kipp, Staff Writer

In this in-depth Q&A one of the Forest Scout members goes in deeper to see what Art Club is all about.

Can you describe what Art Club is?

Art Club is a club that meets weekly to provide an artistic outlet for students of all grades and experience levels, providing a wide range of mediums and projects that we can collaborate over.

What kind of people would be interested in joining Art Club?

We like to see anyone who is interested in being creative or artistic in any way, regardless of skill level or experience.

How is the year going?

So far so good! We have had a super high attendance rate and we have seen lots of new faces from the underclassmen as well!

Who do you think the MVP is in Art Club this year?

It’s still pretty early on in the year to say for sure, but I would give it to our only Junior Board members, Sophia Zar and Ellie Moore. They’ve helped us out a lot in preparing for this year’s meetings and it has been great to have such a strong board to support the club.

Can you describe the upcoming events Art Club is planning on doing in the future?

So far we have made shrinky dinks, painted windows and done chalk art for homecoming. Our upcoming meetings, we will be tie-dying outside and designing t-shirts!

When and where does Art Club meet?

We meet every Monday in Room 051, also known as the Digital Arts Lab. New members are always welcome!

Three adjectives that best describes Art Club
