Lexie Moe

Lexie Moe

Senior Lexie Moe spends 12+ hours from first sketch to final painting on a singular piece. She completely immerses herself in the world of art and the history of it, using what she finds to further her already impressive skills.

“Lexie is totally dedicated to art, and she is your classic art student. Not many people have the will to study how art was done 500 years ago, but Lexie does so well, and with ease,” AP art teacher Mrs. Carolyn Bielski said.

RTI Coordinator Mr. David Hain called Lexie one of the most “consistently creative, ingenious, and articulate” students that he’s ever taught.

“I enjoy my conversations with her every time, and she always has something fascinating to say,” RTI Coordinator Mr. David Hain said.

Lexie makes an effort to connect with her teachers and to bring a sense of excitement and thoughtfulness to the classroom. An infectiously kind person, who’s incredibly accepting of everyone, Lexie is someone you want in your life.

“Lexie is one of the most creative, enthusiastic, and fun students I’ve had. I love the way she would stay after class on Google Meet last year, and she comes to visit me this year. I think she is so intrinsically motivated and thoughtful and kind. And she’s going to do amazing things; she’s just awesome,” English teacher Mrs. Jane Eccelston said.
