Travion Burks

Junior Travion Burks values passion and hard work, which can be seen through his artwork.

He spends a lot of time drawing cartoons; he gets most of his inspiration from the many anime shows he watches.

Mrs. Harmsen, a social worker whose walls include some of Travion’s artwork, said LFHS is “lucky” to have Travion.

She also emphasized how Travion is “ kind, hard working, motivated, artistic, and funny.”

“His personality and demeanor can make anyone smile! It has been such a pleasure getting to know him this year and I know he will do great things with the time he has at Lake Forest HS!” she said.

Travion has a lot of passion for basketball and video games, too. Whenever he has spare time, he loves to play Call of Duty Warzone, a free-to-play battle royale video game that allows you to play with friends online.

Many friends around Travion have great things to say about him, Junior Alex Gonzales appreciates his humor.

“Travion is really funny, whenever we play Warzone he makes me laugh and we have a great time; his jokes are hilarious,” Gonzales said.

He also loves to listen to music, especially rap music. One of Travion’s favorite music artists is “G Herbo” a rapper born in Chicago.

“ Whenever am around Travion the mood changes, something about him and the way he interacts with people that makes him so likable,” junior Joe Scott said.
