Abigale Lawrence

“The epitome of creativity.” Now that’s a hard title to live up to, but there’s no one in the student body who encapsulates the energy of that statement like senior Abigale Lawrence.

A talented artist who can master just about any medium, they boast proficiency in classic portrait art, digital art, and even more hands-on forms of art like jewelry making.

While they are livening up the world around them with their innovative art, they also work hard to hone their craft.

“Abigale is able to see how different things in life are connected, sometimes in obscure ways. They channel that insight into their art, giving their work beautiful subtleties and symbolism,” art teacher Mrs. Thomas said. “I am so thankful I’ve had the opportunity to teach Abigale and get a front row seat to their creative growth the past few years.”

Their passion for art and unending insight not only catches the attention of their instructors, but also their fellow peers.

“They’re always doing such cool things and it motivates me to do just as cool things. Being in AP Art with them has allowed me to push my creativity to its limit,” senior Kowalski said.

They are not limited to art when it comes to making meaningful connections with others.

“They’re so kind and caring. Plus, always supportive and funny. They always lighten the mood and make everyone around them laugh. They’re unique in so many ways. They are truly one of a kind,” gushed junior Charlie Moore.

Abigale in essence is a celebration of the individual. Someone able to differentiate themself from the world around them and by proxy encourage others to do the same.
