This program helps their students to have real life interactions in a working environment and gives them hours to add to their resume, so they are properly prepared for the workforce when they graduate.”

Why UK?
“I chose my school because I am a legacy there and for me, I didn’t want to be too far from home. The reason being is because I wanted to be able to grow and mature as an individual which is very important to me.”
What are you most excited about?
“I think I’m most excited about is the fact that my college is very diverse and for me, I always struggled with finding a place where I belonged, and at the University of Kentucky I can be myself and not have to worry about what others think of me, and I can finally have that weight lifted off my shoulder and that weight is constantly having to be someone that I’m not just to fit in.”
