Emily Liebelt

During pre-COVID times, you just might have witnessed a certain bubbly senior Emily Liebelt order a “White Chocolate Moe-chuh (mocha)” at the school coffee shop or be told to quiet-down her giggles by Mrs. Eikenberry in the HRC.

Her peers can attest that Emily is an astounding addition to the community who brightens the days of just about everyone she comes in contact with.

“Emily is literally a ray of sunshine,” said friend Ava Schumann, “Her empathy for others and enthusiastic spirit makes any activity with her something really special. People gravitate towards Emily because she’s such a positive person who’s incredibly kind.”

Liebelt doesn’t limit her cheery behavior to the confines of school, however. If you see her studying at Hansa Coffee Roasters or running near Lake Bluff Beach, you’re guaranteed to be met with an enthusiastic greeting.

In addition, Liebelt is also heavily involved as a cheery member of the varsity volleyball team, National Honors Society, and Women’s club. 

“Emily is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met,” said friend Sylvia Kollasch.

And it’s completely true, Emily Liebelt is a treasure and has a heart you truly can’t pass up.
